How To Find The Right Career In Sports Medicine

Updated: Jul 24

What sparked my idea for this blog was how I accidentally found sports nutrition. I started to feel the difference in how I ate and how I performed in high school, but it wasn't until my first year of college when a Nutritionist came to talk to our women's rowing team. I couldn't believe this was real; I could make my love for food and athletics into a career! I was so mad at my guidance counselor.

As an athlete, I knew I wanted to stay connected with athletics but I didn't know where my place was yet. How do you actually find the right career? You can shadow or volunteer for sports medicine professionals to see what their job is really like. You can attend webinars or lectures in that field too.
